Upcoming Activities

Tuesday, April 5, 2005 - Jay Carter, Psy.D. will speak on Bipolar illness and Recovery. He is a Licensed Psychologist and professional speaker. He has been featured on over 100 TV and radio shows. He is the past president of the Berks Area Psychological Society.

Monday, April 18 - David Anderson Brown and 18 year old daughter, Emily, from Camp Hill, PA will share their personal story. Mr. Brown serves on the NAMI State Board of Directors, Emily was diagnosed with bipolar illnesss while in high school.

Monday, May 16 - Ellen Perricci, M.D. and Mary Thompson, Ph.D. from Wernersville State Hospital will provide an education program on schizophrenia and anxiety disorders.

Monday, June 20 - An education meeting will be provided by Service Access & management (SAM), Treatment Access and Services Center (TASC), Threshold Rehabilitation Services, Supportive Concepts, Mosaic House, and Circle of Friends Drop In Center.

On the first Tuesday of each month, support meetings are held - two groups are available - a family group and a recovery group.

All meetings begin at 7:00 p.m., are free and open to the public.

All meetings are held at the First Church of the Brethren, 2200 State
Hill Road in Wyomissing, PA (across from the WalMart shopping center).
