NAMIWWALKS PA 2007
The
NAMIWWALKS for the Mind of America is a nationwide
fundraising and mental health awareness program
that is held nationwide in multiple communities
every year, including Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
These
Walks raise awareness about Mental Illness
as biological brain disorders, combat stigma
associated with severe mental illnesses and
promote mental health services NAMIWALKS provides
to thousands of families here in Pennsylvania
and across the country.

NAMIWWALKS PA 2007 Saturday, September 15th at the
State Capitol, Harrisburg
The
NAMIWWALKS for the Mind of America is a nationwide
fundraising and mental health awareness program
that will be held in 60 communities around the country
in 2007, including Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
These
Walks will raise awareness about Mental Illness
as biological brain disorders, combat stigma associated
with severe mental illnesses and promote mental
health services NAMIWALKS provides to thousands
of families here in Pennsylvania and across the
country.

Castellanos was Grand Marshal of the NAMIWALKS PA 2007!
Puerto
Rican Panorama program host
Diego Castellanos
Diego
has been honored frequently both for his television persona
and for his volunteer work in behalf of his community.
He is in the Philadelphia Broadcast Pioneers Hall of Fame
and his name appears on several Who's Who lists. He and
Action News anchor/reporter Walter Pérez have both
been recognized as two of the Delaware Valley's most influential
Latinos. Coincidentally, both Diego and Walter co-anchor
the 6abc live telecast of the Philadelphia Area Annual
Puerto Rican Parade.
Castellanos
is a published author who has worked as a print reporter,
columnist, and editor in both Spanish and English publications
and has hosted radio shows in Camden and Trenton. He received
his journalism training at Marquette University in Milwaukee,
is a graduate of the New Jersey Military Academy, holds
a master's degree from Montclair State University, and
a doctorate in education from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Corina Aucker, 14 of Manchester Township,
competed in the finals of the Harrisburg Superstar 2007
competition at the Whitaker Center. She won 1st Place!

during the Street Rod Idol competition on the final day
of Street Rod Nationals East, at the York Fairgrounds, on
Sunday, June 3, 2007. She won the competition over 3 other
competitors.
